In this role, you will work as part of our maintenance team and will be responsible for the upkeep of the hotel’s facilities and fabric by performing a planned painting programme. An eye for detail and precision is key to ensure that Aviator’s high standards are maintained. The successful person will be fully conversant with current painting and decoration working practices and will have a good understanding of health and safety procedures.

In this role you may also assist the team with other general maintenance tasks involving the upkeep and general maintenance of the hotel.

You will work 40 hours over 5 days Monday – Friday.

You’ll be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of fresh dishes, including mains, soups, salads and sandwiches, while ensuring high standards of quality, presentation, hygiene and cleanliness.

You’ll have the opportunity to contribute ideas and play an active part in creating and developing our canteen menus, so we’re looking for someone with a genuine passion and desire to create great food that our team will love.

You’ll also help ensure the canteen is welcoming, well-presented and fully prepared for each service.

You will support the Head Pastry Chef and a small team in producing high-quality desserts, bread and sweet treats for our Brasserie, afternoon teas, events and functions. You will take pride in presentation, consistency and maintaining excellent food hygiene standards.

This is a varied and fast-paced role where you will deliver exceptional service across breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You will work with a variety of menus ensuring every guest receives a warm welcome and an excellent dining experience.

We are looking for someone who is friendly, reliable and enjoys working as part of a team. Previous Food & Beverage experience is desirable, but a positive attitude, willingness to learn and passion for great service are just as important.

This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, worked over 5 days. As the role covers breakfast, lunch, and dinner service, you will need flexibility to work early mornings, evenings and weekends.
