Sky Bar

Situated on the first floor, Sky Bar offers a spacious and luxurious backdrop for your film set. Windows cover the entire west wall for natural light, but can be covered with our Venetian blinds. The only fixed feature in this room is the bar, which can be covered if needed or incorporated into your setup.
Previous projects have included removing all of the furniture to transform the area into a penthouse suite.
Staircase & Lobby

Our most popular and striking space within the hotel. This vast and unique area lends itself to film and TV productions requiring multi-level aspects, high-end executive-style features, and large staircases.
This area has previously been popular with sci-fi productions due to its futuristic architecture.
Quiet Lounge

Quiet Lounge 1 & 2 are intimate lounge areas situated on the first floor. They offer a blank canvas for location scouts looking for a small modern space with natural light.
Entrance, Lawn & Car Park

Aviator offers a large outdoor area that can be utilised for equipment and crew facilities, or exterior filming.
The car park holds at least 150 cars. While the lawn undulates, it is clear of obstructions, creating a two-acre open space for creativity. The hotel’s driveway and entrance provide an ideal setting for filming moving vehicles, as well as capturing actors entering or exiting cars.
The lawn, car park and entrance sit on private land, meaning our team can easily make arrangements for exclusive access to these areas to ensure your space is uninterrupted. Temporary hard standing can be installed for any heavy-duty vehicles that require access to grass areas.
Bedrooms
Standard, Studio, Sky Suite
Aviator offers three room types, all with the option of airside or roadside. While the rooms can be adjusted to suit your needs or style, we recommend using them to film scenes that require a traditional bedroom setup.
One of our Sky Suites has previously been used to shoot a couple in a hotel bedroom.
The Swan
Gastropub & Sister Company
Just 5 minutes walk from Aviator, The Swan provides a contemporary pub setting with a bar and dining space. The painted wooden panelling, exposed brick, two fireplaces, and first-floor sash windows give a traditional twist to the space.
The pub also offers a large enclosed outdoor space comprising a paved patio and grass area. This versatile space can provide a perfect setting for a classic pub setup or be transformed into a home environment, for example.
